Incident Report Program

Although there has been marked improvement in keeping the Central Business District safe and friendly, many business owners in the district continue to report unacceptable behaviors to the Association. Some of the reported behaviors include: aggressive pan handling, public urination or defecation, prostitution, spitting, vagrancy, public intoxication, fighting, parking violations, illegal drug activity and property damage.

Our policy encourages the complainant to report their concerns directly to the appropriate authority such as: City Police, Bylaw enforcement, City of Prince Albert, or appropriate service providers.

The Prince Albert Downtown Improvement District will act as an advocate on behalf of the property and business owners to see that their concerns are being addressed. It is our policy to not act on hearsay, gossip, or third party reporting. The Association will only bring forward concerns or complaints if the issue has been reported to the appropriate authority, and the complainant has filed an incident report with our office documenting details of the incident.

It is not our intention to replace effective and proper reporting procedures. Ambassadors are instructed to remain aware at all times that they are not law enforcement, rather highly visible and reliable presence offering support and gather intelligence.

PADIDA Incident Report Form may be filled out, signed by complainant and filed with our office, only after an incident has been reported to the appropriate authority(s).
