Notice Of Annual General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the 2009 annual general meeting of the Prince Albert Downtown Improvement District Association will be held at the JMC Library on Wednesday March 17th at 7:00 pm for the following purposes:

To receive the report of the directors and the accounts for the year ended December 31st 2009..
To re-elect Harris May who, retiring by rotation as director under the articles of association and, being eligible, is offering himself for re-election as Treasurer.
To elect Paul Moser, Fred Matheson and Anne Moeller who were appointed during the year, as directors filling vacancies.
To re-appoint Kemp Thompson McLeod as the auditors until the conclusion of the next annual general meeting.
To consider and, if thought fit, pass the following resolution which will be proposed as a special resolution:

'THAT the association approves increasing the levy calculated on the municipal portion of the taxable commercial property assessments within the Prince Albert Downtown Improvement District Association (PADIDA) boundary from 3% to 4%. That the association approves increasing the request of a grant in lieu of taxes on the City of Prince Albert’s properties within the PADIDA boundary from 3% to 4%. That the association approve increasing the request for grant in lieu of property levy from 3% to 4% on Provincial, and Federal Government properties within the PADIDA boundary.

Property Owner Member within PADIDA boundary paying the levy.
Business Owner Member shall have paid the $150.00 annual membership fee.
